The estate has 7ha under vine, planted with Sauvignon Blanc, Semillon, Merlot and Shiraz.
The vineyards are farmed by Bennie Booysen and his dedicated team, who take great care and attention to manage this site.
Weltevreden Hills Residential Estate
An enclosed exclusive residential estate – Weltevreden Hills – borders the beautiful vineyards. Private free-standing homes enable more families to live and enjoy this magnificent Estate.
Jonkershuis Restaurant
A bistro style restaurant, which offers breakfast and lunch, and also contains the Bertha Wines tasting room.
Guest House Accommodation
The Manor House and the River and Werf Cottages are exquisitely refurbished to offer guests a world-class accommodation experience in the Heritage buildings.

- Bertha Premium Tasting – R450 – Start with a guided tasting paired with a small nibble. Thereafter, experience a self-guided walking tour around our Historic Estate. Discover 200 sculptures by South African artist Ruhan Janse van Rensburg. Each sculpture is paired with poetry and music to guide you as you enjoy a bottle of your favourite Bertha to keep you company.
